Lemon Cash is an Indie rock band
LEMON CASH is a Canadian indie rock band that formed in Ottawa in 2015. Influences include: The BeeGees, Brian Adams, Kings of Leon and U2. They have a full energetic, harmonious “stadium” sound. Currently rebuilding, songwriting and excited to get their music out. The band is composed of brothers Cory Papineau (lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist) and JJ Papineau (drummer, background vocalist), Zack Robillard (bassist, harmonies) and new addition Roberto Osorio (lead guitarist)
Their first EP, ‘Lemon Cash’, (James Robertson, producer, January 2016) had 2 of songs ’Turn It Up’ and ’All Over You’ gaining radio play across Canada, while the ‘All Over You’ YouTube video (December 2016) garnered over 16,200 views. The recently released, ‘Rock Your Soul’, which was pre-produced by James Robertson and produced by Damon Sharpe and Eric Sanicola, reaps radio play on local stations, as well as internationally on Radio Hamburg, Germany. The video (April 2017) has 16,233 views on YouTube.
With a loud and loyal fan base that follow them to their shows in Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal Lemon Cash were honored to be invited to play at the 2016 Canadian Music Week in Toronto, and privileged to have been asked for a second CMW invitation in 2017 at the Hard Rock Café. They headlined Ottawa’s Westfest (June 2017) and have performed on CTV LIVE.
